Our Story

Merry Pawpins Pet Sitting was born from a deep-seated love for animals and a desire to provide compassionate care for furry companions. The journey began years ago, during my high school years, when I found myself assisting Persian cat breeders. I cleaned cages, prepared meals, and helped bathe the delicate felines. It was during this time that my passion for animal care ignited, a feeling that only grew stronger as I gained experience caring for horses, both for friends and in exchange for riding lessons. My path led me toward a career in veterinary medicine, where I honed my skills and knowledge over two decades. Clients often sought me out to care for their beloved pets while they were away, and word-of-mouth referrals quickly spread.

Driven by the requests for dependable in-home care, I decided to dedicate my time and expertise to exclusively serving families' cherished pets. Moving back to New England in 2007, I merged my professional veterinary experience with my lifelong passion. Now, I have the privilege of spending my days ensuring that animals receive the same loving attention and personalized care they would at home.
