Our Story

Feathers, Fins 'n Fur Pet Care Services is a family-owned and operated business born from a deep love for animals and a desire to provide exceptional care for pets. Founded in 2007 by Jennifer Remington, the company began as a way to combine her passion for animals with her entrepreneurial spirit. Jennifer, a lifelong animal lover and dog owner, brought her background in business management to create a company dedicated to offering comprehensive and personalized pet care solutions.

Initially, Feathers, Fins 'n Fur focused on three core services: Daily Visits, Vacation Sits, and the Pet Taxi. Jennifer's commitment to quality care and her genuine love for animals quickly earned the trust of pet parents in the community. Recognizing the need for a safe and nurturing alternative to traditional boarding facilities, she expanded the services to include Overnight Camping in 2009. This commitment to growth and expansion has allowed Feathers, Fins 'n Fur to become a leading provider of full-service pet care in the area.

Jennifer resides on three picturesque country acres in Auburn with her husband and business partner, Ken, their two sons, Matt and Dave, and their beloved Labrador Retrievers, Atticus and Ellie. The entire family is actively involved in the business, ensuring that every pet entrusted to their care receives the utmost attention, love, and individualized care.

Daily Visits: Whether you work long hours, need assistance with your pet's daily routine, or simply want to give your furry companion extra love and attention, our Daily Visits are the perfect solution. These visits can include feeding, fresh water, walks, playtime, potty breaks, medication administration, litter box maintenance, and basic home upkeep tasks like bringing in mail or watering plants.

Overnight Camping: When you need to be away from home, rest assured knowing your pet is in a safe, comfortable, and loving environment with Feathers, Fins 'n Fur. Our Overnight Camping service provides your pet with plenty of exercise, socialization, and individualized care.

Vacation Visits: For our feline friends who may feel anxious or stressed alone at home, Vacation Visits provide peace of mind. We will visit your cat daily to provide feeding, fresh water, litter box maintenance, playtime, and affection, while also ensuring basic home maintenance tasks are completed.

Pet Taxi: Busy schedules and unforeseen circumstances can sometimes make it difficult to get your pet to their appointments on time. Our Pet Taxi service will safely and comfortably transport your furry friend to and from vet appointments, grooming sessions, or any other destination they may need to reach.

Doggie Daycare

We offer a limited number of spots in our fun and supervised Doggie Daycare program. This is a great option for dogs who need socialization, exercise, and playtime while you are away. Our Daycare staff creates a safe and stimulating environment for dogs of all ages and energy levels.
