Happy Active Dog's Training programs focuses on building relationship and understanding before obedience. Dog training should be about building trust, confidence, relationship and then obedience. Happy Active Dog will show you hands on using a mixture of dog psychology and proven training methods on how to achieve the ultimate relationship with your dog. The approach to each dog is specific and depends upon cause and extent of the problem behavior the dog is displaying. Training may be in Board and Train form or Private Lesson form depending on the situation and what would be best. Private lessons last 1 hour. Board and train starts at 2 weeks minimum and includes two private lessons with the owner after your dogs stay. The amount of instruction needed for behavior change varies on a case by case basis. The severity of the issue or issues determines the approach and amount of time needed to help your canine companion reach a more balanced state of mind.

Kaiser "The Doberman" - AKC/UKC CH Nubia's Usual Suspect CGCu TKP RN BN CD BH - Doberman Pinscher

Kaiser is the face of Happy Active Dog. If you are a client, you have seen Kaiser. I always say "He is my best employee" as he is helping me in private lessons and with board and trains on a daily basis. He makes my job easier. He was shown in conformation earning his AKC and UKC Championship. We have competed and titled in AKC competitive Obedience and Rally with first placements and high in trials. We have trained in IGP (Schutzhund) and he has his BH. Kaiser was also used in a couple feature film movies staying in NY for a week of filming in strange areas with cameras, actors and crew all around, yet he held onto his obedience and performed amazing for his scenes. He is known for his great temperament and eagerness to please. Definitely Proud of this boy!

Amara - Dutch Shepherd

Amara is my KNPV style Dutch Shepherd. She is a large and powerful, serious work girl. We started her career training in IGP. IGP is a 3 phase sport. Tracking - Obedience - Protection
