At The Barking Orange, we are a Doggy Daycare, Grooming and Training facility located just outside downtown Syracuse in the Inner Harbor area. We pride ourselves in providing a safe, clean, and fun environment for your dog to play and socialize while you're away. Our daycare facility is committed to giving your dog the attention and care they deserve.
Our Services
We offer a range of services to cater to your dog's needs. Our Doggy Daycare program provides a supervised and secure environment for your dog to play with other dogs. Our experienced daycare leaders are certified in animal CPR and have a passion for providing exceptional care for your furry friend.
In addition to our Doggy Daycare program, we also offer Grooming services. Our experienced groomer provides an all-inclusive groom (Bath, Brushing, De-shedding, Haircut, Ear Cleaning, Nail Trimming) by appointment Monday-Friday. We have some breed and size restrictions, so it's best to inquire about our grooming services and prices by contacting us directly.
Training
At The Barking Orange, we believe in the power of positive reinforcement training. We offer a variety of obedience training classes, including Beginner, Leash Walking, Puppy, and Agility classes. Our training programs are designed to help you and your dog develop a strong bond, improve communication, and enhance your relationship. Our experienced trainers are dedicated to helping you achieve your goals and building a strong foundation for your dog's training.
Meet Our Team
Our team is led by Sara Edsall, the owner of The Barking Orange. Sara is a passionate dog lover who established this business in 2011. With her extensive experience in the corporate world, Sara recognized the need for a unique and dedicated dog facility in Syracuse. She believes that every dog deserves a loving and caring environment to thrive.
In addition to Sara, we are proud to have Sam Marks as our Operations Manager. Sam has a background in natural history and interpretation and has a deep passion for animals. His expertise in animal care and well-being has been instrumental in shaping our daycare and training programs.
