Born and raised in Kailua, our founder, Lori Sampaio, comes from a large, loving ohana that always included pets. It was this upbringing that instilled in her a deep understanding of the vital role pets play in our lives. This passion and love for animals led her to create Kailua Pet Sitters, with the goal of providing reliable, trustworthy, and compassionate care for pets while their owners are away.

At Kailua Pet Sitters, we offer a range of services designed to cater to the individual needs of your pet and your family. Our services include:

Drop-in Pet Care: Our drop-in pet care service allows your pet to stay in the comfort and familiarity of their own home. We will come to your home and take care of your pet's specific needs, including feeding, scooping, and giving them plenty of love and attention.

Drop-in House Checks: If you're going to be away for an extended period, our drop-in house checks service can help keep your home secure and tidy. Our service includes tasks such as picking up mail and newspapers, watering plants, and taking out the trash.

Potty Breaks / Dog Walking: Whether you're too busy or just can't make it to the park, our dog walking service ensures your furry friend gets the exercise they need. We'll take your dog for a walk or even engage in a fun playdate at home.

Pooper Scooper Service: Keep your yard clean and fresh with our pooper scooper service. We'll remove waste and leave your yard smelling fresh and clean.

Shopping Service: We know how tedious it can be to find time to shop for pet supplies. That's why we're happy to provide our shopping service, which includes picking up pet supplies in the Kailua and Kaneohe areas for a small service charge.

Pricing and Payment

All of our services are competitively priced, and we offer flexible payment options to fit your needs. We require a 50% deposit prior to departure and balance due upon your return. We also add 5% Hawaii state tax to all invoices. Please note that rates are subject to change without notice.
