Mt. Diablo Dog Training Club, Inc. (MDDTC) is a vibrant community of passionate dog lovers based in Martinez, California. Our mission is to empower dog owners through quality training, fostering happy and well-behaved companions for families in the Bay Area. We welcome all breeds, mixed or purebred, and all ages, from playful puppies to wise old companions.

Our Services

We offer a diverse range of training programs and activities, including:

Group Training Classes

• Beginner to advanced obedience training, covering essential commands like sit, stay, come, and down.
• Specialized classes in conformation, rally obedience, and nose work for those seeking competitive titles or fun activities.
• Fun and engaging classes like Tricks & Agility for those who want to challenge their dogs in unique ways.

Private Training

• Customized training programs tailored to address specific behavior issues or achieve individual goals.
• Advanced training for competition preparation, including AKC Obedience Trials, agility competitions, and conformational shows.

Community Events

• Annual Obedience Trial and Show & Go workshops where you can witness and participate in friendly competitions.
• Regular agility trials and match days where both handlers and dogs can strut their stuff!

Additional Services

• Canine Good Citizen (CGC) testing to assess and certify your dog's basic obedience skills.
• Rally run-throughs for practicing different elements of the sport.
• What the Judge Sees (WJS) run-throughs to receive personalized feedback from experienced handlers.
