Crater Animal Clinic is a full service veterinary hospital in the Central Point area. We treat both large and small animals. Our hospital was founded in 1970 and was originally a large animal-only practice. In 1976, Dr. Bob Addington started the dog and cat portion of the hospital and it has been growing in the Rogue Valley ever since. In 2001 we built a new 14,000 square foot hospital in order to provide better service to our expanding equine, small and large animal clientele. Currently, Crater Animal Clinic has eight veterinarians and a well trained, enthusiastic staff including three certified veterinary technicians. Our mission is to provide the highest quality veterinary care for both large and small animals in a kind manner and with an overall goal of helping our patients lead longer, happier, and healthier lives.

Committed Alliance to Strays (C.A.T.S.) is a non-profit organization dedicated to helping cats in Jackson County, Oregon since 1990. We rescue, test, vaccinate, neuter, and provide shelter for homeless cats awaiting adoption, aiming to decrease the number of stray and abandoned cats in the area. Our dedicated team of volunteers assist with daily grooming and upkeep, and offer loving support to our feline friends. We provide a chance at a better life by rescuing, testing, vaccinating, neutering, and providing shelter for homeless cats awaiting adoption. To achieve this, no cat leaves our shelter until it has been spayed or neutered. All of our cats are given special care, including medical and behavior checks, testing, vaccination, treatment against parasites, anti-fungal baths, and micro-chipping.
