Germelhaus German Shepherds has been breeding top working German Shepherds for over 40 years. We are known for producing some of the oldest and most renowned working lines in the US. Our pups are suitable for various purposes, including active pets, service dogs, IPO/Schutzhund, agility, AKC obedience, dock diving, nosework, rally, SAR, personal protection, and police K-9 work.

Our dogs descend from some of the most prestigious working lines in Germany and continue to uphold the exceptional qualities these dogs are renowned for. Our breeding program emphasizes health, temperament, and athleticism. We meticulously combine West, Belgium, and East German working line bloodlines to create pups with remarkable drives, intelligence, and athleticism.

Quality Assurance and Health Guarantee

Every brood bitch at Germelhaus is owner-titled and meticulously trained from a basic BH (companion dog) to SchH3 (top working dog) level. We prioritize health by pre-certifying both parents for good hips and elbows before every breeding.

Early Socialization and Puppy Imprinting

We believe early exposure to socialization and proper puppy imprinting are crucial for producing well-rounded and trainable pups. We start socialization from a young age, exposing our puppies to various people, animals, and environments. We also implement intensive puppy imprinting techniques to foster a stronger bond between each pup and its new family.
