Meet the Team

Alley Budash, owner and operator of My Best Friends Pet Sitting Service, has been a resident of Stroudsburg for over 40 years. She has built the business from her lifelong passion for animals and extensive work experience. As a veterinary technician, Alley gained valuable knowledge on various health conditions and treatments for pets. In her role as a Humane Officer for Monroe County, Pennsylvania, she worked tirelessly to protect livestock and ensure their well-being. Over the years, Alley has served on the board for animal rescue organizations and has assisted in dog evaluations.

During the aftermath of Hurricane Katrina, Alley helped provide animal shelter and recovery services in New Orleans through Noah's Wish. She was instrumental in caring for 1,564 animals and reuniting over 1,257 lost pets with their owners. Alley has received her dog training certification from the Animal Behavior College and continuously pursues further education at regional and national seminars and workshops.

Layla is the exuberant border collie that Alley rescued in 2014. Since then, Layla has become an indispensable partner at My Best Friends Pet Sitting Service, providing socialization, exercise, training assistance, and sometimes even natural herding of other pets.
