At Playtime Doggie Daycare & Pet Salon, we are a female-owned, independently operated small business that has been providing pet-friendly services to our community since November 2003. Our staff is committed to providing all pets in our care with the highest degree of safety and love.
Our Story
Owning and operating a pet care business has truly been a dream come true for me! I have had an undying love for animals since my childhood. This love fueled my dream of having a career of not only caring for dogs and cats, but also caring for their owners. Once I graduated from high school with honors, I went on to a business college and graduated with a Master's Degree in Business Management. I gained more experience after college by volunteering for the Delaware Humane Association for approximately four years. This enabled me to create, build, and launch a small business in Delaware.
Our Services
We understand that most people work long hours and hate to leave their dogs alone all day. That's why we have created a facility where dogs can socialize, exercise, and develop positive behaviors in a safe, Cage-Free Environment. Our Doggie Daycare Services are specifically designed for dog owners with busy schedules. Your dog will get to play with other dogs both outside in our large, enclosed play yard and inside, in temperature-controlled playrooms. Our Grooming and Bathing Services include the highest quality products, a relaxing environment, and constant supervision. All Grooming and Bathing Services are Cage-Free. We also offer Overnight Boarding for our feline friends, which includes playtime, large windows to look out, and lots of cuddles with our staff. And although we do not offer boarding here at our facility, some of our staff do offer overnight pet sitting services in their personal homes.
