Founded in 2018 by Christopher Hayes, a passionate animal lover with a background in music and animal care, our team is made up of responsible animal enthusiasts who are committed to delivering top-notch service to our clients and their pets.
Our Story
Chris has always had a way with animals, and his love for pets led him to explore careers in animal care. After graduating from music school, he secured his first full-time job with a dog walking service in Boston. Later, he became a veterinary assistant/technician at Pieper-Olson Animal Health Clinic in Connecticut. After relocating to New Orleans, Chris resumed his passion for dog walking and pet sitting, initially booking services through Wag and Rover. Upon realizing the demand for reliable, high-quality pet care in the local market, Chris founded Christopher Walkin' Dog Walking & Pet Sitting in December 2018.

We offer a range of services tailored to meet the unique needs of your pet. Our services include:
- Dog Walking & Drop-in Visits: Book a one-time or recurring schedule with our experienced walkers. We provide GPS-tracked routes, photos, and notes from the walker.
- Air Bed & Biscuit: For an alternative to kenneling, your furry friend can enjoy the comforts of home with us. Our spacious accommodations are designed to make your pet feel at ease. We require all vaccinations and dog-friendly paperwork.
