Our Story
Our journey began in 1975 when our founder, Dr. McKee, started his veterinary practice. With a passion for providing top-notch care to pets, he set his sights on creating a one-stop facility that would cater to the needs of dogs and cats. Inspired by a Colorado colleague's successful veterinary clinic and doggie daycare facility, Dr. McKee envisioned a premier destination for pet owners. In 1989, Southwest Animal Care Complex was born, offering a heated doggie pool, specially-built dog runs, and expansive outdoor play areas.
