Many of our staff members have worked in veterinary offices and bring their expertise to Southport Kennel. We believe that our staff's dedication and love for animals set us apart from other boarding facilities, ensuring that your pet receives the best care possible during their stay with us.

Take a Tour - See for Yourself

We invite you to bring your pet for a tour of everything Southport Kennel has to offer. During peak times, our customers who are dropping off and picking up their pets receive priority, so we recommend that you call a few minutes ahead to minimize your wait time. This will give you the opportunity to see our facility firsthand and meet our friendly staff.

Services - From Boarding to Grooming and Beyond

From arrival to departure, your pet will feel right at home with us. In addition to comfy lodging and exciting playtime, we also offer grooming services guaranteed to put some pep in their step. Upon checkout, you'll receive a custom report card with details of your pet's stay. Our boarding rates are as follows:

• Dogs: Suite / $45.50 per night, per pet; Non-Suite / $33.50 per night, per pet
• Cats: Suite / $27.75 per night, per pet; Non-Suite / $21.75 per night, per pet

We also offer a variety of grooming services, including baths, nail trims, and furminator treatments. Our grooming rates vary based on the size of your pet, but we offer discounts for multiple pets and extended stays.

Discounts - We Appreciate Our Valued Customers

We offer a 15% discount for additional dogs or cats from the same household, as well as discounts for teachers, military, and first responders. For stays longer than two weeks, ask about our extended stay discounts.

Policies and Procedures - Ensuring the Health and Safety of Our Guests

We take the health of pets very seriously and require all of our guests to have the following vaccinations:

• Dogs: Bordetella, Rabies, DHLP
• Cats: Rabies, FVRCP

Please provide us with up-to-date copies of vaccination records for our files. You may either bring proof of vaccinations at time of check-in or have your veterinarian fax to our office at 864.585.1020.

In the unlikely event that your pet needs veterinary care while you're gone, we can transport to your personal vet during normal business hours or to the emergency clinic after hours. For urgent cases, we are a half-mile away from Palmetto Animal Clinic and have an established working relationship with their staff.

Chow Time - Nourishing Your Pet's Body and Soul

We proudly serve our guests Nature's Select dry food, a highly digestible, gluten-free premium mix that is effective in minimizing gastric stress. Cost for meals is included in your stay rate. If your pet prefers their own food, we can accommodate that as well.
