Empowering Your Pet's Potential
At Ann Gafke's Dogschooling, we are dedicated to providing top-notch dog training and therapy dog services to families in Central Missouri. With over 50 years of experience, our expert trainers and state-of-the-art facilities are equipped to help you and your furry friend achieve your goals, whether it's basic obedience, advanced training, or therapy work.
Our Story
Our journey began with a passion for German Shepherd Dogs, breeding and training them to be loyal, level-headed, intelligent, and healthy companions. Over time, our interest in Border Collies grew, and we began working with them as well. Today, our commitment is to help families solve common dog issues, such as housebreaking, digging, and chewing, and prepare their dogs for therapy work and other important jobs.
Our Services
We offer a range of services designed to cater to dogs of all ages and breeds. Our Puppy Kindergarten program is tailored for puppies under 6 months, focusing on basic obedience, socialization, and housebreaking. For older puppies and adult dogs, our Level 1 and Level 1+ classes provide more advanced training, addressing problem behaviors and building a stronger bond between you and your dog. Our Sassy Dog Training program is specifically designed for dogs with aggressive tendencies or fear-based behaviors. Additionally, we offer Jumpstart Your Training, a convenient solution for those who need to get started with training immediately.
Our Facilities
Our 27-acre facility is dedicated exclusively to dog training and puppy training activities. Our amenities include a 3,200-square-foot dog training building, a 15,900-square-foot, fenced training yard, and a 10-acre, wooded dog park. We also have a full array of obedience and agility dog training equipment, as well as facilities for outdoor dog training, tracking, water sports, and water rescue work.
