Our goal is to enable you to live in harmony and peace with your dog, and we believe that our dog training can help you achieve that. With our comprehensive dog training and behavior modification services, we cater to the unique needs of each dog and its owner.
Our Approach
Our approach to dog training is centered around building a relationship of trust and cooperation between the dog and handler, while considering the dog's natural ways of learning. We believe that every dog is unique, and so is our training. We offer an assessment to get a feel for your dog's temperament and discuss your goals, and then tailor our programs to address your dog's specific needs.
Services
Assessment: Our assessment is an opportunity to meet with a trainer who will take the time to get to know your dog's temperament and behavior, and discuss your goals. It's also an opportunity to discuss your dog's current behavioral challenges and select a program that will best address their needs.
Group Dog Training Classes: Our group dog training classes take place weekly for seven weeks. Each class is one hour long with up to seven dogs, ensuring that you receive one-on-one coaching with our trainers. Our group classes provide an excellent opportunity for you and your dog to build your skills in a dynamic environment, where our trainers take advantage of opportunities to build practical obedience skills and appropriate social skills between dogs.
Private Dog Training: Our private dog training is one-on-one coaching with a trainer at our facility or in your home. We meet with you on our grounds or in your home, where you receive dog training specific to your goals, have access to the use of other dogs for distraction and/or socialization, and have ample space for building off-leash dog training skills. You also receive detailed coaching and support specific to transitioning your dog's new skills to your home environment.
Private In-Home Dog Training: Our private in-home dog training is one-on-one coaching with a trainer in your home, neighborhood, or where best suits addressing the behavioral needs of your dog. We build obedience skills and confidence, address behavioral modification, and prepare you with homework and goals that build with the program.
Sporting Dog Training: Our sporting dog program is designed for beginner to advanced sporting dogs and their handlers, using retrievers, pointers, spaniels, setters, and versatile sporting dogs, who are interested in growing their relationship and training working in the field. We begin with an assessment to appropriately stage you and your dog's skill set (beginner-intermediate-advanced) and then appropriately tailor the eight-weekly lessons to your dog's current level of proficiency.
Stay & Train: Our Stay & Train program is an immersive dog training experience for your dog. Your dog enjoys all the comforts of a home environment while working on their skills throughout the day. We work towards a variety of behavioral modifications, including aggression, separation anxiety, reactivity, and fear, in addition to basic obedience skills like leash walking, "place, " sit, down, stay, or recall. Included in the Stay & Train package is a two-hour go-home dog training session and a one-hour follow-up, where we transfer our skills, strategies, and structure to you and your family to ensure that you are prepared to maintain the training.
Service Dog Training: Our service dog training is exceptionally variable depending on the situation of each owner/handler. These special dogs are training for specific needs, and therefore, training prices are very much dependent on the goals and needs of the handler and the amount of time and expertise necessary to achieve these skill levels.
