Business Details
We have been operating Paws & Claws Finishing Touch for over fourteen years, establishing ourselves as Southwest Michigans premier pet salon. We opened our first location in Portage and, due to strong client demand, expanded to Battle Creek four years ago, adding a fullservice doggy daycare. Our locally owned business is deeply rooted in the community, regularly supporting SPCA Humane Society and American Cancer Society events. We are proud members of the Better Business Bureau, which reflects our commitment to ethical practices and transparent customer relations. Our grooming team includes Julia, a seasoned trainer with more than 30 years of German Shepherd breeding and showing experience, who mentors the next generation of groomers. Angel, another groomer, specializes in calming anxious dogs, turning nervous pets into relaxed, tailwagging clients.
Nikki brings six years of comprehensive grooming skills, from breedspecific cuts to pet hair dye, while continuously pursuing advanced education. Leannah, a newer team member, quickly adapts to our high standards and is already accepting new clients at our Portage salon. We employ meticulous handscissoring, nail grinding, and a Shedless program to address specific breed needs and maintain pet comfort. Our services adhere to rigorous safety protocols, ensuring each cat and dog receives a stressfree, hygienic grooming experience. We strive for complete client satisfaction by delivering consistent, highquality results and fostering lasting relationships with pet owners.
