Helping you train your dog to be a rewarding member of your family

The Nashville Dog Training Club is a volunteer-run organization dedicated to helping dog owners and their dogs become the best version of themselves. Founded in 1960, we are the only AKC-licensed club in the metropolitan Nashville area, offering classes in agility, obedience, rally, tracking, scent work, and lure coursing. Our mission is to provide a supportive and encouraging environment for dog owners to train their dogs, while also fostering a sense of community and camaraderie among our members.

Training Services

At the Nashville Dog Training Club, we offer a range of training classes and services designed to meet the unique needs of every dog and handler. From puppy socialization to competition-level obedience, we have a class for you. Our experienced instructors and volunteer staff are dedicated to helping you and your dog achieve your training goals.

Membership

While membership is not required to take a class, it does offer many benefits, including access to exclusive events, discounts on classes, and a sense of community and belonging with fellow dog enthusiasts. Our membership program is designed to support and reward our members, while also providing a platform for dog owners to share their passion for dog training with like-minded individuals.

Facility

Our state-of-the-art training facility is fully climate-controlled and equipped with three full-sized rings, two restrooms, large meeting rooms, and plenty of agility equipment. Our facility is available for rental to other groups and events, and we also offer drop-in classes for those who want to attend a single class.

Drop-In Classes

Our drop-in classes are designed for those who want to attend a single class or need a flexible training option. Our drop-in classes cost $10 per class and are available in a variety of training areas, including agility, obedience, and rally.

Class Format

Our 6-week classes typically meet once a week and are designed to provide a structured and supportive learning environment. Our class sizes are generally small, with 4-10 students per class, and are taught by experienced instructors who are passionate about dog training.

Refund Policy

All classes are non-refundable. We understand that sometimes things come up, and that's okay. However, we do encourage our students to attend as many classes as possible to get the most out of their training experience.
