Our training methods are based on positive reinforcement, which encourages desired behaviors through rewards and creates enjoyable interactions between dogs. While boarding with us, your dog will receive free social dog training and opportunities to practice safe behaviors.

Red Rover Pet Services LLC has a rich history that started with Heidi Dixner's lifelong love for dogs. From her early experiences at the ASPCA, to her dream of becoming a vet, Heidi's passion for animals has always been present. In 2004, Heidi and her husband Robert started Red Rover Pet Services, combining their expertise and love for dogs. The business has grown and evolved over the years, moving from East Nashville to its current location in Hermitage Avenue.
In 2023, Heidi and Robert will move Red Rover to a new location in the country, allowing them to focus on training and offering boarding on a smaller scale. Throughout these changes, our commitment to providing professional care for your dogs remains our top priority.
About Us: New Clients
If you're new to Red Rover Pet Services, we welcome you and your furry friend! To ensure that our services are a good fit for your dog, we have specific requirements for boarding. New clients must be customers in good standing prior to August 1, 2023; have attended a wood romp; be enrolled in training; or scheduled for board and train. Please call, text, or email us to schedule an appointment after completing the online paperwork.
