At Fur The Love of Dogs, we are a family-owned and operated Cage-FREE Overnights, Bed & Breakfast Suites, Dog Daycare, Full Service Grooming, Obedience Training, and Self Dog Wash facility located just behind the post office in Spring Grove in McHenry County. Our dream is to provide a place where dogs go when their family members are working. Along with a place they can be groomed under a more relaxing environment.

Our Story

Our journey into the Animal community has been a wonderful experience. After bringing back life and energy into our own rescued dogs, we know how important a safe and reliable facility can be to a community. The unconditional love our fur friends gave to us during very trying times was a life saver. We feel it is now our turn to give something back to them.

Our Services

We offer a variety of services to cater to all your pet's needs. From Cage-Free Sleepovers & B&B Suites to Full Service Grooming, we have you covered. Our experienced groomer provides a stress-free atmosphere for your pet during grooming, ensuring they leave wagging their tail and maybe even with a smile on their face!

Our Cage-Free dog Grooming Spa provides a relaxing environment where your pet will feel comfortable and at ease. Whether your dog is here for a day of daycare or a quick in and out self-wash service, we create a positive social canine experience.

Obedience Training

We also offer Obedience Training classes, taught by experienced trainers who understand the importance of socialization and proper training. Our classes are designed to help you build a strong bond with your pet and teach them essential skills that will make them a well-behaved member of your family.

Community Involvement

We are dedicated to giving back to our community. We participate in various charity events and support local animal welfare organizations. Our "Bark-A-Wish Program" allows us to give back to our furry friends in need, and we are proud to be a part of such an amazing community.
