With over 26 years of experience working with canines and humans in a variety of fields, we are dedicated to creating a bond, trust, and confidence between dogs and their owners. Our services extend to all breeds, shapes, sizes, ages, and temperaments, and we specialize in addressing a wide range of behavioral issues, from basic obedience and off-leash training to serious aggression and problem behaviors.

At Consummate K-9 Training, we understand that every dog is unique, and we tailor our training programs to meet the individual needs of each dog. Our state-of-the-art 1,500 sq. ft. indoor facility and 5-acre training field provide the perfect environment for dogs to learn and grow, while our farm animals (chickens, goats, donkey, bull, and cats) serve as distractions for our real-world training techniques. We are proud to serve the Austin Metro area, Lockhart, Luling, Cedar Creek, Smithville, Seguin, Bastrop, Gonzales, Kyle, San Marcos, Red Rock, and surrounding areas.

Our Services

At Consummate K-9 Training, we offer a comprehensive suite of dog training services designed to address a wide range of behavioral issues and training needs. Our services include:

• In-Board Training: Our two-week in-board program starts with a thorough evaluation of your dog and a consultation to understand your expectations and needs. Your dog will stay at our facility for approximately 14 days, during which we will work on eliminating problem behaviors and putting a solid obedience foundation in place. We emphasize achieving an off-leash recall, a down at a distance under heavy distraction, walking nicely on a loose leash, and mastering basic commands. When you return for your dog, we will provide you with a private lesson to ensure you have the skills to maintain your dog's performance level. Our in-board program includes four advanced follow-up sessions and the initial evaluation/consultation. Inboard Program fee starts at $1,200.00. Prices vary due to the dog's temperament, serious aggression, or major problem behaviors. Evaluation/Consultation fee - $55.00 (This fee is applied to in-board program fee).
• Basic Obedience Program: If you're tired of behavioral problems with your family pet, our basic obedience program can help. We specialize in addressing issues such as jumping, running off, excessive barking, nipping, attention-seeking behaviors, and general disobedience. Our program will help you transform your dog into an exceptional companion, one that listens when you need them to.
• Off-Leash Obedience Program: Our off-leash obedience program takes your dog's training to the next level. We emphasize achieving an off-leash recall, a down at a distance under heavy distraction, and walking nicely on a loose leash. This program is ideal for dogs that have already mastered basic obedience commands and are ready for more advanced training.
• Puppy Class: Our puppy class is designed to help your new puppy get a strong start in life. We cover basic obedience commands, socialization, and problem-behavior prevention. Our puppy class is ideal for puppies between 8 and 16 weeks of age.
• Boarding: Our boarding services provide your dog with a safe, comfortable, and structured environment while you're away. We offer individualized care and attention, as well as basic obedience training and socialization.
• Specialty Training Videos: Our specialty training videos cover a wide range of topics, from basic obedience commands to advanced training techniques. These videos are a great resource for dog owners who want to continue their dog's training at home.
• Trainers Advice: Our trainers are always available to provide advice and guidance on all aspects of dog training and behavior. Whether you're dealing with a specific behavioral issue or just need some general training tips, we're here to help.
