Our philosophy is based on dog-friendly, science-based, ethically grounded, positive reward training. We believe in building trusting and respectful relationships between you and your dog, treating dogs as companions and family members, and not dominating them physically. We understand that dogs are not just pets, but living creatures that deserve our care and attention.

Our Story

Skip Daiger, the owner of Daiger Dog Training, LLC, is a graduate of the Animal Behavior College with full certification as a Professional Pet Dog Trainer and a fully insured Professional Member of the Association of Pet Dog Trainers. He is currently a professional Mentor Trainer for the American Behavioral College. He is experienced in Canine Behavior and has served Wayside Waifs Humane Society, Kansas City, MO as a volunteer WAGS Trainer and Instructor for more than 4 years. He and his wife Kay are certified members of Wayside Companion Training Solutions and have extensive experience fostering & rehabilitating special need dogs.

Services

We offer a variety of services to help you and your dog build a strong bond and address any behavioral issues that may arise. Our services include:

• Group Training Classes: All dog training classes are taught by a certified dog trainer.
• In Home Training: A certified dog trainer conducts a mini class with you and your dog in your home.
• Individual Consultations: A one-on-one certified dog training session to address specific behavior issues.
• Behavior Therapy: A certified dog trainer develops a behavior modification plan to address problem behaviors.
• Behavior Assessments: Is your dog really aggressive or just fearful? Our certified dog training can help you understand the cause of unwanted behavior.
• Board & Train: Your dog receives training while living with a certified dog trainer.
• Public Education: Topics such as Shy & Fearful Dogs, Basic Dog Training Principles, Children and Dogs, et c.
