Our private dog training lessons provide personalized, one-on-one instruction with a professional trainer. We teach owners effective training techniques and assign homework between sessions to reinforce progress. Our programs cover basic and advanced obedience, leash pulling, jumping, and other behavioral concerns. We also offer puppy training focused on foundational commands, house training, and positive reinforcement.

Our group dog training classes provide structured obedience instruction in a supervised social environment. We offer six-week courses covering basic, intermediate, and advanced skills. Training includes essential commands, marker training, loose-leash walking, and working through distractions. Advanced classes introduce off-leash training, while all levels provide opportunities to practice obedience alongside other dogs.

We provide professional dog boarding services managed by experienced dog trainers. Our facility features climate-controlled indoor and outdoor runs, with an individual cot for every dog. Each boarding stay costs $65 per night and includes a bath, brushing, and nail trimming before departure. Additional options include yard time, individual attention, and walks.

Sending my dogs here was an amazing investment into our future. My puppy Stormy had become reactive and I had no clue how to handle her. I felt alone and terrified she would end up being put down or hurting someone. She wouldn’t allow people to come over or even walk by without being reactive. I was apprehensive at first about using well rounded training techniques, but I was desperate. However, when she came back from behavior modification camp she was able to learn rules that helped both of us relax. I began to understand her reactivity and how I can keep both of us safe. And she has training that allows her to feel safe and that I’m in control. Not only is she obedient now, but she’s a much more relaxed dog. I ended up sending my other puppy Zorro as well because Stormy was so well behaved I couldn’t imagine having an untrained dog. They can both walk in a perfect heel, ignore distractions, obey commands, stay in their place, and are all around more comfortable. Both my puppies constantly get compliments on how well behaved they are now, which is ironic because they were known for their bad behavior. But mostly, I don’t feel alone in training my dogs anymore. When I have questions I always know I have somewhere to call and someone to help. You pay for the results and that speaks for itself. Cannot recommend them enough! Literally changed my life.

The main reason I decided on Prestige K9 is because my partner's dog was so well behaved and I was blown away how easy it was to be around her because Prestige K9 trained her dog! Seriously--wow! We could be in public and her dog would listen while my dog (Bentley) created a sore shoulder with his tugging and great frustrations. Now that Bentley is trained--oh my goodness--I LOVE walking him everywhere. Let the experts be the experts. We've been working w/ Jav for the past 5 months & have nothing but amazing things to say. Our Doberman puppy is so much easier to handle now-- doesn't pull/jump, knows a bunch of commands, and she absolutely loves going to training. Jav also fits in as many things as he can into each session & we always leave feeling extremely productive. Will definitely continue using them in the future & they're well worth the investment!

I found Prestige K-9 on Google when I had to put my best friend Clay into boarding. The staff there are very friendly and professional and Clay gets excited every time I drop him off there. That's a good sign.

If I could give prestige 10 stars, I would. We’ve brought in our newly adopted Puppy and have only been training her for two weeks and she has completely transformed into a new dog. from what we thought from what we thought was gonna be a nightmare, an adoption, our puppy has turned a new leaf. Huge shout out to Javi, We couldn’t have asked for a better trainer. We have learned so much through this process. I cannot wait to see our sweet puppy turn into a well-behaved dog. Prestige is the best! We sent our reactive border collie Waldo to them for a board-and-train and we all learned so much from it. Waldo had a great time. We really appreciated the training session they gave us when we picked him up so we could make sure what he learned stuck when he came home.

He's already gone back for boarding and I'm so glad to have a go-to boarder for him.

Prestige K9 did a phenomenal job training my dog! I adopted a pit bull from a rescue and a month into owning her I discovered that she was very animal aggressive. Walking her became a dangerous and difficult task. She went crazy when she saw other dogs and it was hard to hold her back because she was so strong. I tried pull harnesses, gentle leaders, choke chains, and pronged collars, but none of them helped. Finally I made the decision to reach out to Prestige K9 for help. They actually came to my house to pick her up, which was very convenient. They ended up boarding her for a whole month in order to train her but when she returned she was a new dog! Her aggression remained the same due to her high prey drive, but now I'm able to control her by commands at the drop of a dime. She listens extremely well. They also taught her other useful commands for on and off leash. They even broke her of the habit of jumping on me when I get home, and pushing past me when I walk through doors. The trainer was very nice and informative, and they gave her a high quality shock collar and slip lead. I am forever grateful for their services and I highly recommend them!!!

10/10 recommend these guys! They are professional, timely and accommodating. Without help from Spencer, our large breed dog with resource guarding issues would not have been where he is today. Because of the patience and knowledge he has - we have complete trust and confidence with our dog Javi, especially and most importantly with our toddler. I am a UC Berkeley trained psychologist with 10+ years experience successfully creating behavior modification plans for people and have read numerous books about training dogs, but I still couldn’t crack the code for my Doberman puppy. I am SO grateful to Prestige K9 for the in-home training sessions! We have had only two sessions so far and what I have learned has made a huge difference! My boy no longer nips or digs, I can trim his nails without issue, and he walks politely by my side when we’re in public! I can’t recommend Prestige K9 enough!

We have had Prestige train both our Whoodles and have been incredibly happy with the results. The trainers were great to work with, and helped us ensure our silly pups were also well mannered and good listeners.

My mini golden doodle was a little unruly and needed to be trained. After purchasing the dream dog package, our little doodle transformed and we now take him to restaurants and walk him off leash most of the time. Note: they do use the educator e-collar to provide feedback and educate owners on how to use the device to reinforce training. They were very responsive to any follow up training questions. I signed Rosie, my 5 y/o belgian malinois mix, with Prestige K-9’s Behavior Modification Training (4-6 weeks). This was the first time I enrolled my dog in a board and train, and it was an amazing first experience.
The person I first talked to was Chelsea, and we had 3 long conversations (30min - 1hr) before proceeding. She was very patient and empathetic. Since I was not too knowledgeable with the process, she answered all my questions and addesssed my concerns.
I had the pleasure of working with Trainer Halle Tennison. I am very grateful that I was matched with such a level headed and experienced trainer.
She sent 2 lengthy and detailed emails a week, which I was very appreciative of. It calmed my anxiety as the weeks passed on. In addition, she would often post instagram updates and tag me. These were my favorite.

Rosie became reactive the older she got.
She would bark at anyone coming to the door, pull on walks, react whenever there was another dog (regardless of the distance), unable to wave her focus whenever commands were said during walks, etc.
In turn, it made her walks stressful and burdensome. It made me extremely anxious as well, leading to her walks to be reduced to once a week at a random time in the day when I knew there were fewer dogs around. This also applied to taking her out in public, whether it was to the park or her vet visits.
At home, she was a complete different dog. The silliest and sweetest thing. Something that not everyone was able to see and experience. The issue was being out in public and around other dogs.

Rosie’s reactivity stemmed from her deep anxiety. She was just scared of the world and it made her seem aggressive. So I was extremely anxious and kept second guessing my decision with enrolling her in a train and board. I never been separated from my dog for that long, let alone have someone care for her.

With Halle’s patience, hard work, and great expertise during the 6 weeks, Rosie came home with a more confident and calm demeanor. It was one thing to read her detailed emails and see the video updates, but to see it in person was a whole other thing. I almost could not recognize my own dog.

Rosie came back home in a much better state than when she left. Halle spent a good 2 hours teaching me how to handle and continue Rosie’s training. We even walked her around the neighborhood and I was just amazed by the difference. Rosie did not pull on the leash, she did not react whenever there were dogs barking behind fences, and stayed in her heel position during the whole walk.

I learned a lot during this experience. I realized that Rosie needed this kind of instruction and guidance all along, especially because of her breed.
I am proud of my dog’s ongoing progress. And we will continue to only get better, all thanks to Prestige-K9 and Trainer Halle.

I rescued this amazing 2 year old Shepherd, Holly. When I got her, she had very little training. After working with Holly for weeks on my own I got to the point to where I just needed help. Holly would keep pulling on the leach, lunge at people (she thought they wanted to play) and would do the same towards other dogs and to cars that drove by us. I reached out to Prestige k9 and they sent Stacy to me to evaluate Holly. With guidance from Stacy she gave me the tools to teach Holly basic commands, walk on leash without pulling and even introduced Holly to other dogs. Just after 2 lessons so far, Holly is a different dog! Stacy really took the time to listen to me, watch Holly to see what we needed to work on. Because of Stacy I am so happy to have a well behaved dog and I look forward to more lessons to see what else Stacy can teach me to work on with Holly.

Prestige K9 was one of the most best investments we could have made for our dog. Their boot camp training program really put us a step ahead for our basic training needs. Our trainer, Stacy had gone above and beyond what we expected. She takes personal care and gives exceptional detail when training. She follows up with us to make sure we are still doing great with the after care and she even came back to us after the training to run through everything again and see if there was anything else we wanted to learn. We will definitely be returning to Stacy for more dog training in the future!

Gina and Meredith was amazing! We have a almost 2 year old Pomeranian, and he would used to bark at everything (cars, people, dogs, sounds, car keys, drive thrus) literally anything you can think of. It was impossible to bring him out since he's always too excitable. He came back from his 3 week Behavior Modification Program, and he's been super respectful, obedient and well-mannered. I really thought it was impossible to fix him and Prestigek9 just proved otherwise. It's definitely an investment but I can assure you it will be worth it in the end if you commit and dedicate time for your dog. We've also gotten so many compliments about how well behaved our dog is. He can even walk off leash with us! We're so excited that we can finally bring him everywhere without feeling embarrassed! Really appreciated both Gina and Meredith for working so hard on our dog. We've been so happy ever since with his results! We are so grateful for the decision we made with him! Prestige K9 is amazing! We recently had our 1 year old, male German Shepherd (Bentley) board trained and we can not be more pleased with the results! The progress Bentley has made in just over a month is astounding. Before, we couldn't even take him out of the house without being dragged around the neighborhood. After the training, we took him for a walk and he stayed right by our side and obeyed commands even with distractions of other kids, rabbits, and other dogs within the vicinity. Kristen is awesome and very knowledgeable about canines, and we really appreciate everything she did for our dog. Kristen did an awesome job going over the training with us at our home and explaining in great detail what we need to do to continue the training that our Bentley went through. We can not thank Prestige K9 enough for everything. We will definitely be back to board our dogs. We highly recommend Prestige K9 to anyone looking to have a well-trained and obedient pet!
