At Leader of the Pack, our mission is to provide top-notch dog walking services to the dogs of Boulder, Colorado. With over 15 years of experience in the industry, we understand the importance of providing your furry friend with exercise, socialization, and structure. As a dog lover myself, I, Greg, have dedicated my career to bringing joy and companionship to the dogs in my care.

We offer two distinct services to cater to the unique needs of our furry clients:
Adventure Pack Late-Morning Hikes
Our late-morning hikes are designed for the more adventurous dogs in our care. Led by yours truly, these 90-minute hikes take us on exciting trails along the foothills and nearby parks. With a focus on off-leash fun and exercise, these hikes are perfect for well-behaved dogs with their Voice & Sight Control tags. Popular destinations include Chautauqua, Shanahan Ridge, The People's Crossing, CU South Trails, and Boulder Creek Path. Home pick-up and drop-off included, with up to 4 dogs per group. Offered Monday through Friday for $36 per hike.
Variety Pack Afternoon Outings
Our afternoon outings are designed to provide a fun and engaging experience for our canine companions. Led by yours truly, these 60-minute walks combine leashed walks and park visits to provide our furry friends with a change of scenery and socialization opportunities. Popular destinations include Foothills Dog Park, Valmont Dog Park, CU South Trails, Boulder Creek Path, Bear Creek Greenway, and Goose Creek Greenway. Home pick-up and drop-off included, with up to 6 dogs per group. Offered Monday through Friday for $24 per outing.
About Greg
As a lifelong animal lover, I've always had a special spot for canines. Growing up in Connecticut with three Golden Retrievers over the course of my youth, I learned the importance of patience, understanding, and positive reinforcement when working with dogs. After earning my Bachelor's Degree in Philosophy along with coursework in Psychology and Music at Boston University, I moved to Boulder to pursue my graduate studies in Philosophy at the University of Colorado. I began walking dogs in the Spring of 2008 and founded Leader of the Pack in March of 2009. Since then, I've had the privilege of working with hundreds of dogs and their human families, providing them with the exercise, socialization, and companionship they deserve.
