Services

At Jen's Gentle Pet Care, I offer a variety of services tailored to meet the specific needs of your pets. Here are some of the services I provide:

• In-home pet sitting: I will visit your home to provide your pet with the care and attention they need while you're away. This includes feeding, fresh water, administering medication, playtime, and cuddles.
• Dog walking: If your dog loves to walk, I will provide at least 20 minutes of exercise on our walks. I understand that every dog has different energy levels and walking needs, so I will work with you to create a walking routine that suits your dog's individual needs.
• Litter box cleaning: For cat owners, I will scoop the litter box daily and change out the litter entirely as needed. This helps to keep your cat's living space clean and fresh.
• House sitting: In addition to pet care, I will also provide basic house sitting services. This includes bringing in the mail, watering plants, and turning lights on and off to make it appear as though someone is home.
• Lawn mowing: My son offers lawn mowing services for an additional fee if your vacation takes you away from home for an extended period of time.

About the Owner

Hello, I'm Jen, the owner and operator of Jen's Gentle Pet Care. I am a full-time professional pet sitter with over 20 years of experience caring for a variety of animals. I have completed American Red Cross Pet First Aid classes and am fully insured with Pet Sitter Associates LLC. I am comfortable caring for a wide range of animals, including dogs, cats, birds, fish, reptiles, and small mammals such as ferrets, chinchillas, rabbits, gerbils, and rats. I am also experienced in dispensing medications, including injections, and am happy to work with you to create a care plan that meets your pet's unique needs.

As a long-time Geneva resident, I am familiar with the local area and am committed to providing top-quality pet care services to my community. I am passionate about animals and am dedicated to ensuring that your pets receive the best possible care while you're away.

Pricing

Pet sitting services start at $20 for a half-an-hour visit. There is an additional $5 per visit fee on all major holidays. There is a $10 cancellation fee for daily dog walks if there is less than a 12-hour notice and a $25 cancellation fee for vacation care that has been booked if you're providing less than 24-hour notice of the cancellation. Cash and checks are accepted.
