At Lather, we offer a range of services that cater to your pet's needs. Our services include:
- Self-Service Pet Bath: Our self-service pet bath allows you to bathe your pet in one of our large, raised tubs with ramps. We provide all the necessary supplies, including apron, tub, shampoo, conditioner, fresh towels, and high-powered dryer. Our tubs are designed to accommodate pets of all sizes, and we also offer tub inserts for small pets. We even provide treats to entice your pet into the tub and to reward them when they're done!
- Full-Service Grooming: Our full-service grooming is perfect for those who prefer to leave the bathing to the professionals. Our licensed, professional groomers take appointments every day to handle all of your pet's grooming needs, including bathing, blow-drying, nail trimming, anal gland checking, teeth and ear cleaning.
- Table and Equipment Rentals: For those who enjoy doing the whole job themselves, we offer table and equipment rentals. You can borrow our table and shears for an extra fee and create your pet's own custom look.
- A La Carte Services: We also offer a la carte services, including de-shedding, flea bath, teeth brushing, nail trimming, sanitary trim, and gland expression.

Our Story
Lather. A Pet Bath House was opened in 2016 by Jeff Manganello, who was inspired by his beloved furry baby Bentley. Lather became Bentley's "home-away-from-home, " and we hope your pet will feel the same! Our team of licensed, professional groomers is dedicated to providing you and your pet with the best possible experience. We take great pride in the cleanliness of our facility and the quality of our services.
Location
We are conveniently located at 5100 Liberty Avenue in Bloomfield, Pittsburgh, PA 15224. We are open from 10AM-7PM Monday through Friday and from 9AM-3PM Saturday and Sunday. We are closed on all major holidays as well as Christmas Eve and New Year's Eve.

Staff and Service

On the positive side, some customers have praised the friendly and patient staff, particularly Jeff and a young lady associate, who went above and beyond to make their pets feel comfortable and well-cared for. One customer was not allowed to use complimentary treats for their Great Dane, and the owner was overly concerned with water conservation, even stopping the customer from washing shampoo out of their dog.
