Bridgewater Pet Boarding

Bridgewater Pet Boarding is a family-run business that opened its doors in 2009. The Campbells, the owners, are dedicated pet lovers who have made it their mission to provide a safe, comfortable, and enjoyable environment for pets. Teri, one of the owners, works part-time for Bridgewater Vet and is a Board Member and Past President of Kat Snips, a low-cost spay neuter program for cats in Washtenaw, Lenawee, Jackson, and Hillsdale counties. She, along with her husband Kevin, has four adult daughters, five dogs, four horses, and five cats.

The Campbells also participate in volunteer work with Abaco Shelter in Abaco Bahamas on working vacations each summer, assisting with their spay neuter program on the island and usually bringing back a few puppies each year for adoption. Their dedication to animals and their welfare is evident in everything they do, making Bridgewater Pet Boarding a premier choice for pet care.

About the Kennel

The kennel is located between Saline and Manchester near the Hamlet of Bridgewater. It is open 365 days a year for pet care, with the exception of pick-up and drop-off on major holidays. The building is heated and air-conditioned for your pet's comfort. There are 22 indoor/outdoor runs and additional spots in the office for smaller guests. The kennel is set in a quiet country setting, far back on the property, providing a peaceful and serene environment for your pets. There is a large play yard for dogs to enjoy the fresh country air, and during the summer months, a splash pool is available for them to cool off.

Bridgewater Pet Boarding is a licensed, insured, and proud member of the Saline Chamber of Commerce. The staff is dedicated to providing personal care for all guests, making sure they feel comfortable and cared for during their stay.

Come Visit Us

We encourage new clients to visit our facility to see where their pets will be staying while they are away. It is best (if possible) for owners to bring their pet so together they can become familiar with the caregivers, building, and grounds. Please call to schedule an appointment so that we can provide you with as much time as you need to ask questions. We want this to be a good experience for you as well as your pet. Generally, it is harder for the human than it is for the pet, as they are with "friends" and they are distracted by the playtime fun.

Services Offered

Bridgewater Pet Boarding offers a variety of services for your pets, including boarding, baths, and medication administration. Our rates include their own indoor/outdoor run or space in our office area. All dogs receive a play yard pass, and we will give oral or topical medications at no additional charge.

For dogs, we offer single, double, triple, and quadruple accommodations. For cats and other friends, we have separate spaces available. Additional services include insulin administration, nail trimming, special pickup, dry dog food, wound dressing, and quick baths.
