Delivering superior care for pets and their families.

Your Dog's Friend is a nonprofit 501(c)(3) organization dedicated to improving the lives of dogs and their human companions. We believe in the power of positive training, a method that is not only effective, but also builds trust and does not cause pain or fear. Our goal is to educate and support dog owners in using positive training methods to build strong, loving relationships with their dogs.

Training and Education

We offer a variety of resources to help dog owners understand and address behavioral issues. Our free webinars, led by certified trainers, cover topics such as leash walking, housebreaking, and basic obedience. We also provide online training classes, both in-person and online, taught by certified trainers who understand dog behavior and use only force-free, reward-based training methods.

Advice and Referrals

In addition to our training classes and webinars, we offer one-on-one consultation by phone and email, as well as referrals to valuable resources. We understand that every dog is unique, and we are committed to providing personalized guidance and support to help you address any issues that may arise.

Our Mission

At Your Dog's Friend, we believe that every dog deserves a loving and safe home. Unfortunately, many dogs find themselves in shelters due to behavioral issues that could have been prevented. We aim to prevent this by educating dog owners on the importance of positive training methods and providing resources to support their training needs.

Positive Training

We believe that positive training is the only way to teach dogs. It is a method that promotes trust, fun, and learning without pain or fear. Our certified trainers are experts in positive training methods and are dedicated to helping dog owners build strong, loving relationships with their dogs.

Body Language

In order to effectively communicate with our canine companions, we must understand body language. Dogs do not speak with words; they communicate through their bodies. By recognizing and understanding canine body language, we can better understand our dogs' needs and behaviors.
