Meet the Team

Our team is comprised of dedicated, compassionate, and highly skilled professionals who share a common passion for animal care.

Dr. Marty Shafer, a UC Davis graduate, has a background in zoological medicine with an emphasis on small animals and birds. She is dedicated to providing progressive veterinary care and enjoys helping pet owners navigate the complexities of pet ownership. Outside of the clinic, Dr. Shafer spends time with her two boys, enjoys exercising, walking, hiking, and yoga.

Dr. Kirstin Jorgenson started at Memorial Beach in 2008 before pursuing her DVM at UC Davis. She has a lifelong love for horses, Monty Python, and the beautiful scenery of Sonoma County. Her animal family includes her cat, Mr. Bates, and Xander, her crested gecko.

Dr. Alice Eklof, with a bio coming soon, is an integral part of our team, bringing her unique set of skills and experience to ensure the highest quality care for your pets.
