Who We Are

Animal Friends Connection (AFC) is a non-profit 501(c)(3) charitable organization dedicated to promoting the human-animal bond and the humane treatment of animals through public education and pet adoptions. With a mission to improve the lives of animals in need, we strive to provide a safe and loving environment for them to thrive.

Our Organization

Established in 1990, Animal Friends Connection began as an educational, rescue, and adoption agency. Over the years, we have evolved to become a full-fledged shelter, housing up to 40 cats and 35 dogs at any given time. Our shelter is staffed by a dedicated team of volunteers and staff who work tirelessly to provide shelter, medical care, and love to our furry residents.

Our Services

At Animal Friends Connection, we offer a range of services designed to help animals in need. These services include:

• Adoption: We provide a safe and loving environment for animals to be adopted by loving families.
• Foster Care: Our foster care program allows us to care for animals in need, providing temporary homes for animals until a permanent home is found.
• Rescue: Our rescue services aim to save animals from situations of abuse, neglect, or danger.
• Spay/Neuter: We promote spaying and neutering to prevent animal overpopulation and reduce the number of animals in shelters.
• Medical Care: We provide medical care to animals in need, ensuring they receive the care they require to thrive.
