Adoption Services

At the heart of our organization is our adoption program. We are committed to finding loving homes for the animals in our care, and we work tirelessly to ensure that each animal is matched with a family that is best suited to meet their needs. Our adoption program includes dogs, puppies, cats, kittens, rabbits, small animals, and other companion animals.

Our adoption process is designed to ensure the best possible match between the animal and the adopter. We take the time to get to know each animal in our care, assessing their personality, temperament, and special needs. We also take the time to get to know each potential adopter, learning about their lifestyle, experience with animals, and expectations for an adopted animal.

We offer a variety of adoption resources, including adoption fees, adoption returns, and financial assistance. We believe that every animal deserves a loving home, and we are committed to making adoption accessible and affordable for all families.

Pet Services

In addition to our adoption program, we offer a wide range of pet services, including a pet helpline, pet resources library, and pet behavior training. Our pet helpline provides expert advice and support for pet owners, while our pet resources library offers a wealth of information on animal care, health, and behavior.

Our behavior and training services include obedience courses, specialty classes, private training sessions, and puppy socialization. We believe that education and training are key to building strong, lasting bonds between pets and their families.

Community Outreach

At the Animal Humane Society, we are committed to making a positive impact on our community. We offer a variety of community outreach programs, including community cats, humane investigations, animal welfare laws, and advocacy.

Our community cats program focuses on the humane care and management of feral and stray cats. We provide resources and support for community cat caretakers, as well as spay/neuter services to help reduce the population of stray cats.

Our humane investigations team works to prevent animal cruelty and neglect, responding to reports of suspected abuse and providing education and resources to help people care for their animals properly.

Veterinary Care

Our veterinary care services include medical care, wellness services, dental and specialty services, and spay/neuter services. We believe that preventive care is key to maintaining good health and well-being, and our veterinary team is dedicated to providing the highest quality care for all of the animals in our care.

Rescue & Shelter Services

We are committed to providing rescue and shelter services for animals in need. Our spay/neuter program helps to reduce the number of unwanted animals, while our end-of-life services provide compassionate care for animals in their final days.

Our rescue and shelter services also include the care and rehabilitation of injured and orphaned wildlife, as well as lost and found pets. We work closely with our community partners to ensure the best possible outcomes for all animals in our care.
