Heartland Dog Training Center

Heartland Dog Training and Education Foundation is a non-profit organization dedicated to promoting responsible dog ownership and enhancing the human-animal bond. Our training facility is nestled in the trees, far from any highway, and features plenty of outdoor space for dog training. Our fully handicap-accessible building has a regulation-size obedience ring and a fully fenced outdoor area where you can work on any training problems.

Our mission is to provide dogs with the skills and socialization needed to thrive in their households and in the community. We believe that every dog has the potential to become a well-mannered and lovable companion. Our experienced trainers work with dogs of all ages and breeds, using positive reinforcement techniques to help them develop good behavior.

Our Services

At Heartland Dog Training and Education Foundation, we offer a range of services to help you and your dog achieve your goals. Our classes are designed to be fun and effective, with experienced trainers and small class sizes to ensure personalized attention.

Puppy Classes

Our puppy classes are specifically designed for dogs between the ages of 3-6 months, with small breeds starting at 3-5 months. These classes focus on socialization and basic obedience skills, including walking on a leash, coming when called, and basic manners.

Beginners Obedience

Our beginners obedience class is designed for dogs of all ages, teaching them to walk on a leash, sit, and stay. This 8-week class is perfect for dogs that need to develop good manners.

Intermediate Obedience

Our intermediate obedience class is designed for dogs that have completed our beginners obedience class. This 6-week class builds on the skills learned in the beginners class, adding more advanced commands and distraction exercises.

Rally

Our rally class is a fun and challenging way to continue your dog's training. This class is designed for dogs that have completed our intermediate obedience class and focuses on using hand signals and teamwork to navigate a course.
