Empowering Compassionate Care and Compassionate Living
Our Mission
The Mobile SPCA is a no-kill, limited intake shelter dedicated to providing compassionate care, shelter, food, and medical attention to animals entrusted to us. We prioritize animal welfare while promoting adoptions, spay/neuter initiatives, responsible pet ownership, and community education.
Our History
Founded in the early 1900s, the Mobile SPCA is one of the oldest continuously operating charitable organizations in Alabama. We operate as a non-profit humane society, receiving no government funding or affiliation with other national organizations. Our compassionate and dedicated staff, alongside a team of dedicated volunteers, are committed to ensuring the well-being of every animal entrusted to us.
