Our Story

Established in 1998, Alpha Dog Training Center is the premier dog boarding and training facility in the Midwest. Located on a beautiful 10-acre dog-friendly estate in Quincy, Illinois, we draw clients with our one-of-a-kind facility and our absolute passion for what we do. Our skilled and experienced trainers are here to help you and your dog achieve your training goals, with a variety of programs available. From our climate-controlled boarding options to our state-of-the-art training and daycare facilities, we provide a safe, clean, and fun environment for your furry family members.

Training Services

At Alpha Dog Training Center, we offer a range of training programs designed to meet the unique needs of you and your dog. Our most popular program is the "Good Dog Program, " which is a comprehensive "Drop-Off" training program. We also have the "Better Dog Program, " which includes all the exercises of the "Good Dog" program plus mastery of those skills off lead, advanced obedience, and a trained retrieve. For those who prefer a more personalized approach, we offer Private Lessons and Custom Training programs. Additionally, we have Weekend Workshops and Weekly Training Sessions available for dogs that have attended our private lessons or training programs.

About Our Team

The professional staff at Alpha Dog Training Center have a complete love and passion for dogs. We pride ourselves on taking care of each animal entrusted to us, as if they were our own. Our team is certified in obedience, protection, tracking, and scent detection, and we welcome you and your dog to our facility for Daycare, Boarding, and Training.
